My home is not a new construction, but a remodel? Can COHBA recommend a trust-worthy home remodeling contractor in Oklahoma City?
The Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association consists of around 900 members. Half of our members are professional builders, developers and remodelers.
What types of companies are members of COHBA?
COHBA represents all businesses associated with construction, remodel services and building in general. About 50% of our members are professional builders, developers and home remodeling contractors. The other half are associate members who participate in the building industry including tradesmen, suppliers, and utilities.
Why should I use a COHBA member builder?
COHBA members are held to a strict code of ethics and are required to offer a one-year warranty on the new homes they build. COHBA members are also required to participate in a mediation process with the consumer should an issue arise. COHBA members are also required to carry workers’ compensation and liability insurance coverage. Moreover, COHBA members participate in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques in the building industry.
Why should I join COHBA?
COHBA members enjoy discounts on products they use every day like insurance, vehicle purchases and credit card processing. COHBA members have access to special events like our Street of Dreams and Parade of Homes featuring some of our profession’s finest work in the Oklahoma City area. Members also enjoy the ability to acquire professional certifications and enjoy greater access to public officials and decision makers that impact our industry.
