COHBA Councils

Area Councils

The central Oklahoma region is a large territory with many municipalities within the area. As such, COHBA has divided our jurisdiction into smaller areas – called Area Councils – to focus on major issues and industry happenings that affect new home construction within a specific area of central Oklahoma. Area Councils include Edmond Area Council, Northwest Area Council, and West/Southwest Area Council and meet quarterly within their designated area.

Associates Council

The Associates Council represents and serves the Associate Members of the association. Associate Members include subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, banks and mortgage lenders, and other members who supply a product or service to Builder Members. The Associates Council hosts annual association events such as Table Top Showcase, Casino Night, Dueling Pianos Night, and more.

Builders + Developers Council

The Builders + Developers Council represents and serves the Builder, Developer, and Remodeler Members of the association primarily focusing on items of interest or issues that may affect our members including municipal affairs, utilities relations, etc.

Professional Women in Building Council

The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) connects members at all levels of business to share knowledge, passion and experiences through activities promoting and supporting women within the industry with focus on a more diverse workforce, mentoring the next generation of female building professionals, and bringing awareness to the important role women serve in the residential construction industry. The PWB Council takes an active role in planning the annual Build My Future OKC workforce development event.
