Workforce Development
Charged with putting on our annual Build My Future & Career Fair event to engage with youth and jobseekers for our industry. Further engagement with students involved in vocational schools.
Professional Women in Building Council*
Connects members across the industry to promote and support women through mentorship, networking, and advancing workforce diversity in residential construction.
*$75 Annual Dues
Area Councils: Leadership
Focuses on key local issues affecting residential construction within a specific region of central Oklahoma. Brings builders, developers, and associates together quarterly to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities unique to their area. Edmond, Northwest, West, and South areas.
Sales & Marketing Council*
Supports professionals involved in selling and marketing new homes, including sales teams, REALTORS®, and lenders. Hosts workshops and programs focused on sales and marketing, including the annual Appraisal Summit.

Government Affairs, Land Development & Codes Council
Monitors state and local government actions impacting home building and advocates for policies that support housing affordability and homeownership.
Finance Committee
Providing oversight and guidance on financial matters to assist the governing board in fulfulling its fiduciary duties related to financial management. Reviews monthly reporting, budgeting and develop internal controls.
Parade of Homes Committee
As one of the association’s main annual events, the Parade of Homes Committee is responsible for the planning and execution of the Spring & Fall Parade of Homes.
Associates Council
Represents and supports Associate Members, including subcontractors, suppliers, lenders, and service providers. Hosts key annual events such as Table Top Showcase, Casino Night, and Dueling Pianos Night to engage and connect the membership.
Golf Committee
Plans and executes the association’s two annual golf tournaments – Spring and Fall. Provides fun, engaging opportunities for members to network and support the association through sponsorship and participation.
Membership Committee
Focuses on recruiting, retaining, and onboarding members. Promotes engagement in association programs and activities to strengthen member involvement and growth.
Hispanic Coalition Council
Serves as a bridge between the home building industry and the Hispanic community, fostering inclusion, education, and workforce development opportunities. The Council promotes engagement among Hispanic builders, trades, and business professionals while supporting initiatives that strengthen relationships and expand participation within COHBA and our industry.
