It’s no secret that the housing market in the Oklahoma City metro is booming.
Oklahoma City was ranked number 2 in the nation on Wallet Hubs “Healthiest Housing Markets” lists.
There is much opportunity for continued growth in 2016. We spoke with COHBA area home builders to help provide insight into the new up-and-coming communities and learn their reasons for growth.
OKC Housing Market Growth from COHBA Members
Timbercraft Homes- Chisholm Creek Farms is set to be complete by the end of April, 2016. This development will have 30-50 homes and will be located off of Western and Edmond Road. What’s great about this home community is it’s located in the heart of Edmond. These homes are aspirational, modern and provide a high-end contemporary feel.
“We chose Edmond because it is price competitive and has one of the best school systems in the metro.” –Tony Meazell, Director of Sales& Marketing at Timbercraft Homes
Johnston Builders- Seven Oaks at Oak Tree will be located in Edmond off of Sorgum Mill and Kelly Road. This community will be built right on a premier golf course which will give homebuyers plenty to do by joining their onsite country club that offers golf classes, tennis and swimming.
